Job summary

RTX is seeking engineering interns, co-ops and entry-level engineers to join our team in Windsor Locks, CT. You will participate in CIPT, drive communication, risk management and project requirements while learning how to coordinate design changes with customers and suppliers.

You will demonstrate the ability to organize and execute several complex tasks, support supplier transitions and cost reduction projects, and contribute to a safer, more connected world through aerospace innovation.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or related STEM major and enrolled through the internship session.
• Experience with CAD software such as NX, SolidWorks, Catia, Creo, AutoCAD, or equivalent.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with computer aided design (CAD) software such as NX, SolidWorks, Catia, Creo, Autodesk, AutoCAD, or equivalent

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience managing projects
• Experience working on cross-functional teams
• A minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
