Job summary

RTX in Melbourne, FL is offering a full-time co-op session from May/June through December for students pursuing STEM degrees. You will work on a cross-functional team, assist project engineers, and develop software/tools to improve process efficiency across projects.

You will lead tasks, present technical information to peers and customers, and plan work streams in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This opportunity includes a pathway to a full-time career with RTX after graduation.

What You Will Do

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, and/or Python. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior experience working on engineering projects
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Data Analytics
• Experience with managing projects in a customer-facing environment
• Experience working on cross-functional teams
• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
