KPG99 INC is seeking a Project Engineer - Wire Harness on a contract-W2 basis to support development of aircraft engine harnesses. The role involves managing projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery, and maintaining quality within established processes.

You will collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams, document progress, and contribute to product development and improvement of existing harness products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Must understand Wire Harnesses from Aerospace or Automotive.
  • Must have Project Management experience.
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and/or modify engine harnesses for aerospace applications.
  • Plan and manage new-product development projects, following established processes.
  • Manage project scope, scheduling, resource coordination, risk identification, and progress tracking.
  • Lead and/or support engineering design reviews to ensure all requirements are met.

Must Have: Mechanical Engineering Degree, Must understand Wire Harnesses from Aerospace or Automotive, Must have Project Management experience. 2-5 years experience.

Manage projects and complete assignments in support of developing aircraft engine harnesses. Responsible for product development and improvement of existing products. Accountable for the quality of own work. Executes within a well-defined framework and adheres to standard processes and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and/or modify engine harnesses for aerospace applications.
  • Plan and manage new-product development projects, following established processes.
  • Manage project scope, scheduling, resource coordination, risk identification, and progress tracking to ensure on time and on budget delivery targets are achieved.
  • Lead and/or support engineering design reviews, ensuring all requirements are met, including compliance to standards and procedures.
  • Develop new technical solutions independently or collaboratively, building upon proven methods, past designs, and organizational best practices.
  • Work closely with engineering and business leadership and cross functional teams to communicate project status, present results, and align engineering activities with strategic objectives.
  • Resolve issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborate with others to solve problems, exchange technical information, ask questions, and incorporate new learnings into scope of work.
Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college

  • Proficient with MS Excel, Project, Word, Powerpoint
  • Ability to document, plan, and execute projects with multiple tasks
