Job summary

Aquatech is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Houston, TX office (or Canonsburg, PA) to lead design coordination, engineering document control, and client liaison for water/wastewater projects.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 5 years in project-based work, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, P&IDs, and Primavera P6. Travel up to 30% and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical)
• 5 years of experience in a project-related industry preferred
• Prior water/wastewater infrastructure project experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead project design coordination with internal engineering, external agencies, Site Contractors, and Client Site Engineers
• Coordinate engineering document submissions to customers & vendors
• Provide status, control, and progress reporting support for all site activities
• Attend scheduled client reviews and customer meetings at the site
• Assist in supervision of construction activities and site visits during construction
• Expedite critical engineering solutions and manage change communication with the client and site contractor
