Who are we looking for?

Our Southeast Water business is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in either Bowie, MD or Chantilly, VA! In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering evaluation, design, permitting, and construction administration of water, wastewater, stormwater, and other infrastructure projects throughout the DC Metro and Southeast Region.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Completion of studies, design and construction administration for a variety of environmental and civil projects
• Developing technical reports and proposals
• Providing mentorship and development advice to junior level staff
• Collaborating with clients for planning purposes, providing updates and building relationships

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) License in Maryland, Virginia, or DC
• 5 - 12 years of experience with municipal water, wastewater, stormwater projects including engineering evaluations, design, permitting, and construction administration
• Previous consulting experience strongly desired

Salary range: $89,760 - $134,640 based on experience
