Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer in Phoenix, AZ. The candidate should have 2+ years of heavy civil site work experience including water/wastewater, pump stations, lift stations, and underground utilities.

The role focuses on planning, cost control, documentation, and staff mentorship within our construction team. Responsibilities include scheduling, procurement, change management, and progress claims.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in heavy civil site work (excavation, roadway, water/wastewater, pump stations).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: material procurement, expediting, and mentoring of engineering staff.
• Schedule: assist in project scheduling and costing systems.
• Project Cost Control: inventory and labor productivity tracking for self-perform work.
• Document Controls & Procedures: drawings review, change management, and documentation control.
• Subcontract Management: define scope, subcontracts, inquiries, progress tracking, back charges.
• Project Administration: track progress claims and estimates.
