Ilocatum seeks a Project Engineer for water and wastewater equipment in Boonton, NJ. This full-time, on-site role focuses on owning engineered equipment projects from order to shipment, coordinating with fabrication, and communicating with engineers, contractors, and municipalities.

The candidate will prepare submittals, manuals, and schedules, ensuring on-time delivery while managing compliance with public works requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience owning engineered equipment projects end to end.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to review fabrication drawings.
• Highly organized and able to manage several projects at once.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineered equipment projects from order receipt through shipment, on schedule and budget.
• Serve as the customer-facing engineer for consulting engineers, contractors, municipalities, and end users.
• Prepare submittal packages, O&M manuals, and project schedules.
• Handle public works requirements, including specifications, prevailing wage, and approvals.
• Coordinate daily with the in-house fabrication shop and outside fabricators.
• Review designs for fit, function, and manufacturability.
