About the Role

As a pivotal member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in scheduling, managing, integrating, and purchasing, working closely with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and company leaders. Your contributions will help uphold our tradition of excellence and innovation in construction.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Risk Management

  • Uphold our commitment to safety by ensuring all tasks comply with safety policies.
  • Engage with field management and crews to foster a safety-first mindset.
  • Address unsafe conditions promptly and provide educational guidance.
  • Adhere to our Fleet Driving Policy.

Project Management

  • Collaborate with Project Managers on weekly report updates and quantity assessments.
  • Review submittals for compliance with contract documents and maintain related logs.
  • Oversee inventory control and verify material deliveries.
  • Document project issues and maintain accurate RFI logs.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and maintain detailed meeting minutes.
  • Manage subcontractor and owner change orders, and assist in the buyout process.
  • Facilitate subcontractor scheduling and communication.
  • Support project closeouts and ensure timely material deliveries.

Leadership

  • Engage in regular meetings with owners, subcontractors, and engineers.
  • Communicate with owners to address their needs throughout the project.
  • Approach problem-solving with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
  • Set high standards for yourself and those around you.
  • Mentor and train jobsite personnel to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and crews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, ProCore, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, pricing, purchasing, and negotiation.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Team-focused with strong leadership, motivation, planning, and collaboration skills.
  • Committed to safety and jobsite standards.
