Qualifications

Job description

Garver is seeking a Project Engineer to join our established Water Services team in one of the following locations: Ft. Worth, Dallas or Frisco.

This position will be responsible for performing a wide array of Water Business Line planning, modeling and design projects for Garver's clients in Texas, such as:

  • Distribution systems, including conveyance and network piping, pump stations, storage units and reservoirs
  • Collection systems, including interceptor, network and outfall piping, pump stations.

The Project Engineer will be led by a Senior Project Manager on a team consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and CAD technicians focused on the production of design phase deliverables including reports, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans, sections, details and specifications.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to gain within 6 months of hire
  • 3 or more years of related water/wastewater design experience
  • Familiarity with ODEQ regulations
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
Preferred Skills
  • WaterCAD, SewerCAD or Civil3D experience
