Project Engineer - Water

Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas

Garver is seeking a Project Engineer in Fayetteville, Rogers, Conway, or North Little Rock, Arkansas, to join our Arkansas Water team. The Project Engineer will be led by a Project Manager and work with a team of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians. The role involves producing deliverables such as reports, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans, sections, details, and specifications. The Project Engineer must work closely with clients to exceed their service expectations.

This position will be responsible for designing a variety of projects, including:

• Water distribution systems, including pumping and storage
• Sewer collection, pumping, and lift stations
• Coordination with State and Regulatory Agencies

Qualified candidates should be able to:

• Produce high-quality work consistently
• Manage workload efficiently to meet project schedules and budgets

• Complete scope items within budget and schedule
• Report project status and progress to managers and clients
• Assist in developing Project Management and Quality Control Plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or biological engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration or ability to obtain within six months
• At least two years of experience in municipal water/wastewater systems design
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook

Preferred Skills:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months
• Construction management experience in municipal water/wastewater projects
• Master's degree in relevant engineering field
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS experience
