Vortex is a Washington, DC-based MSP focusing on Microsoft platforms. Our technicians, engineers, and sales staff hold multiple Microsoft certifications. We aim to maximize the Microsoft ecosystem for our clients, primarily through remote work. We occasionally gather in person for team events and celebrations.

Job Description

1. Administer and troubleshoot the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, and more.
2. Deploy, configure, and administer Azure services such as Azure Computing, Azure Networking, AVD, Windows 365, and Entra ID.
3. Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender XDR.
4. Package and patch applications and operating systems.
5. Lead projects like Email Migrations to Office 365, SharePoint Migrations, Entra ID Migrations, Microsoft Intune configurations, and Teams Phone deployments.
6. Configure and deploy Firewall, Switches, and Wireless Access Points.
7. Assist in onboarding new customers.
8. Monitor security events and recommend remediation actions.
9. Assist with drafting and revising IT policy documentation.
10. Support desk duties as needed.
11. Require 5+ years of customer service experience.
12. Require 5+ years of relevant technical experience with Microsoft platforms.
13. MSP experience of 4+ years is preferred.
14. Pursuing or holding technical certifications, especially Microsoft Certifications, is encouraged.
