Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (Georgia preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience with GDOT procedures.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE

  • Performing design calculations, preparing plans, and directing schematic designs for GDOT, local government, and other projects around the region.
  • Using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices.
  • Interacting with task leaders, team members, clients, and other consultants.
  • Exercising judgment in independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Mentoring direct reports, and conveying knowledge to others
  • Team lunches/breakfasts and social activities

“MUST HAVE” QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (Georgia preferred as starting point)
  • 5+ years of experience with MicroStation, inRoads (or Open Roads) and GDOT procedures
  • Effective communication skills to engage with other employee-owners.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience with Bentley ORD
  • Experience with Large Scale GDOT Projects or Programs
  • Experience and relationships with various GA cities and other agencies
  • Advanced skills in specialized software programs
  • Technical Training Experience
