As a Project Engineer, you will implement technology projects across client environments, working hands-on with Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, security, and infrastructure technologies while coordinating with internal teams and communicating directly with clients throughout project implementation. This role emphasizes ownership of deployments, migrations, network implementations, and infrastructure projects,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional IT experience.
• Hands-on Windows troubleshooting in business IT environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Security & Compliance and OneDrive.
• Hands-on networking configuration and troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewall rules).
• Experience with networking hardware such as SonicWall, Meraki, UniFi.
• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, resource management).
• Ability to document configurations and communicate with clients clearly.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support IT projects including hardware deployments and migrations.
• Administer and configure Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
• Configure and troubleshoot networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewall rules).
• Deploy networking equipment (SonicWall, Meraki, UniFi).
• Manage endpoints with Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Assist with Azure and Entra ID administration (VMs, networking).
• Configure Active Directory and Group Policy settings.
• Configure and manage email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Perform Windows hardware/software maintenance and troubleshooting during projects.
• Document configurations, environments, and changes accurately.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering technology projects across a variety of client environments. This role is ideal for a hands‑on IT professional with a strong technical foundation who is ready to take greater ownership of deployments, migrations, network implementations, and infrastructure projects. You will work across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, endpoint management, security, and infrastructure technologies while collaborating with internal teams and communicating directly with clients throughout project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support IT projects including hardware deployments, network installations, Microsoft 365 migrations, cloud deployments, and infrastructure upgrades
• Administer and configure Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Security & Compliance, and OneDrive
• Configure and troubleshoot networking technologies, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewall rules, switches, wireless networks, and related infrastructure
• Deploy and configure networking equipment, including platforms such as SonicWall, Meraki, and UniFi
• Manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot
• Assist with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID administration, including virtual machines, networking, identity, resource management, and Conditional Access
• Configure and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy
• Configure email security and authentication records, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
• Perform Windows hardware, software, driver, patching, and advanced technical troubleshooting as needed during project implementations
• Document project configurations, technical environments, changes, and completed work accurately
• Communicate directly with clients throughout projects, providing technical updates and coordinating implementation activities
• Identify technical risks or potential issues during projects and proactively work toward solutions
• Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure projects transition smoothly into ongoing support
• Travel to client sites as needed for installations, network deployments, migrations, and other project work

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Some projects may require evening or after-hours work to complete migrations, deployments, maintenance, or other activities that cannot be performed during normal client business hours
• Approximately 25% travel to client locations

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional technology/IT experience
• Strong hands‑on troubleshooting experience with Windows endpoints and business IT environments
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Security & Compliance, and OneDrive
• Hands‑on networking configuration and troubleshooting experience with technologies such as DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewall rules, switches, and wireless networks
• Experience working with networking hardware such as SonicWall, Meraki, UniFi, or similar platforms
• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including areas such as virtual machines, networking, and resource management
• Hands‑on experience participating in IT projects such as hardware installations, network deployments, software migrations, Microsoft 365 migrations, or cloud deployments
• Experience using an ITSM or ticketing platform and maintaining clear technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work through technical issues independently
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information directly to clients
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and project responsibilities in a fast‑paced MSP environment
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to travel to client sites approximately 25% of the time
