Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license required to practice engineering.
• 3–5 years of structural engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and structural reports using codes and standards.
• Prepare engineer studies and schematic designs.
• Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, CAD technicians, clients, PMs and other disciplines to ensure complete deliverables.
• Review design drawings for accuracy, constructability, and QA/QC compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support PDH for PE licensure.
• Seal and stamp engineering documents as a licensed PE.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain professional communications.
• Maintain organized project files and calculations per company standards.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
