Entergy is seeking a talented, experienced, and innovative Project Engineer to join the Power Development engineering team, which drives innovation and technological advancement to enhance the reliability, affordability, and sustainability of new power generation projects.
This role collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and maintain engineering design standards for new generation plants (gas). The Project Engineer ensures engineering products are complete, accurate, and constructible for all elements of a project’s scope. The position promotes a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, best-practice implementation, and lessons-learned application.
Because this role directly supports the development of new power generation assets, demonstrated and relevant experience in power-generation — such as development, engineering, design, construction, or operations is essential and will be considered a minimum requirement for selection.
The Project Engineer works closely with multiple Project Managers as a technical resource during the development phase and coordinates with cross-functional teams while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
