International Motors, LLC in Lisle, Illinois, seeks a Project Engineer, Product Compliance to independently execute emissions certification and regulatory reporting for our commercial vehicle products, including EPA, CARB, and ECCC programs.
You will partner with engineering, testing and quality teams to integrate regulatory requirements across the product lifecycle, leverage data analytics to improve compliance processes, and mentor engineers while leading cross-functional initiatives.
The Project Engineer, Product Compliance who independently executes emissions certification and regulatory compliance reporting activities for International Motors' commercial vehicle products, leveraging data-driven compliance initiatives. This role independently manages complex compliance activities, including EPA, CARB, and ECCC emissions reporting, defect investigations, warranty reporting, recalls, and emerging compliance requirements supporting internal combustion engines and electrification and zero-emission technologies.
The Project Engineer partners with engineering, testing, quality, and program teams to ensure regulatory requirements are successfully integrated throughout the product development lifecycle. This position leverages data analytics tools and digital solutions to improve compliance processes, identify trends, support decision-making, and enhance Product Compliance Management Systems.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, regulatory expertise, and analytical capabilities to interpret requirements, manage certification activities, and provide guidance on compliance strategies. The Project Engineer may also lead projects, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and mentor less experienced engineers.
