Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support Power Uprate initiatives within our Nuclear Services Group. This role will focus on planning and executing complex engineering tasks that drive energy efficiency in nuclear facilities.

Applicants should have a minimum of six years of experience in the nuclear or power industries, with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant PMP Certification. This role offers a competitive compensation range of USD $120,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year.

The position may involve travel of 10-15% depending on project needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic discussions and align teams to meet quality and deadlines while keeping clients informed.
  • Drive problem‑solving, manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities.
  • Co‑ordinate interdisciplinary design engineering projects, ensuring project solutions and quality goals are met.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to schedule and within budget; develop detailed project reports and report financial status to management.
  • Develop high‑technical engineering proposals, support marketing efforts, identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and follow up.
Qualifications
  • Design engineering experience with modification and implementation processes, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities.
  • Minimum of six years’ experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or related) OR PMP Certification and 10 years of applicable experience.
  • PE license strongly preferred.
  • Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
  • Excellent organizational, time‑management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision‑making, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
  • Ability to travel 10‑15% of the time, with duration varying per project.
Compensation

USD $120,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year.
