Taurus Industrial Group seeks a civil/structural engineer to develop designs for process equipment, pipe racks, warehouses, and site development.
You will perform structural analyses (dead, live, wind, seismic), foundation design, and soil-structure interaction, preparing calculations, reports, and drawings for plant facilities. Collaboration with management on cost estimates and project feasibility is essential.
Develop civil and structural engineering design including foundations for process equipment, pipe racks, warehouses, and site development. Perform engineering analysis and calculations; structural load analysis (dead, live, wind, seismic), foundation design, and soil-structure interaction for heavy industrial equipment. Develop and review plant engineering design criteria and technical specifications in accordance with applicable industry codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, ASTM, and plant-specific standards, etc.). Prepare and review engineering deliverables, including design calculations, structural analysis reports, construction drawings, and material quantity take-offs, and cost estimation. Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to support capital project planning and plant expansion initiatives. Provide technical review of civil/structural design documents to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements specific to petrochemical facilities. Perform constructability reviews from a design perspective, focusing on safety, cost efficiency, and operational reliability. Participate in and coordinate technical meetings with management to discuss engineering design approaches, project scope definition, and high-level capital cost estimates
Requires, bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related + 2 years of experience as engineer, staff engineer or relevant.
