Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects to ensure they are completed according to the contract, including observing construction, reviewing and signing documents, and communicating with staff, contractors, and clients.
- Communicate professionally with clients and contractors, building ongoing business relationships.
- Perform engineering calculations for analysis, study, and design of specific project aspects.
- Utilize electronic tools such as GIS, models, BIM, and CADD for project analysis, study, and design.
- Assist in creating cost estimates for projects.
- Instruct technicians on drafting for your designs.
- Conduct field investigations or inspections, ranging from visual observations to detailed measurements using specialized equipment.

Qualifications
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Four years of relevant, post-graduate mechanical engineering experience
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of engineering philosophies, principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficiency with digital tools such as Microsoft Office, GIS, BIM, and CADD
- Strong interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to mentor less experienced staff
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
License
- Professional Engineering License in WI, with IA, IL, and/or MN preferred
