The company is seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a strong background in plastics manufacturing, specifically in injection molding and profile extrusion, to lead high-impact engineering projects across our facilities. If you're passionate about innovative process improvement, equipment upgrades, and hands-on project management, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage capital engineering projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, performance tracking, and reporting.
  • Drive improvements by supporting maintenance excellence programs at multiple production sites.
  • Provide technical leadership in evaluating and implementing new technologies, systems, and machinery.
  • Conduct vendor assessments and recommend alternative equipment and process solutions.
  • Collaborate with local plant teams to identify maintenance skill gaps and support hiring, testing, and training efforts.
  • Utilize your expertise to monitor project costs, ensuring they align with approved budgets.
  • Be flexible with travel and work hours as needed to meet project milestones (weekends and extended hours may be required).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Plastics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment within the plastics industry, ideally with experience in injection molding and profile extrusion.
  • Proven hands-on knowledge of mold processing, troubleshooting, and implementation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD software, and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, automation, and PLCs.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities with a track record of successful project execution.
