Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering efforts for high-visibility plant initiatives and strategic programs.
• Provide project engineering support throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, execution, startup, and closeout.
• Develop and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and engineering deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ASME NQA-1 quality requirements and nuclear facility standards.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, Construction, Startup, Project Controls, and Project Management teams to drive successful project execution.
• Monitor engineering progress against approved schedules and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain project performance.
• Support the integration of internal and external technical resources to address complex engineering challenges and meet critical project objectives.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and direction to cross-functional engineering teams while ensuring alignment with project requirements and organizational goals.

Job Description

The Project Engineer will provide technical leadership, coordination, and engineering support for a variety of projects. Projects may include Commercial, Infrastructure, Production Modernization, and Production Stockpile initiatives, as well as the planning, design, and implementation of new machine tools and critical infrastructure upgrades.

This role supports large-scale, expense-funded production capability initiatives that often fall outside traditional capital project structures and require accelerated execution. These projects demand significant coordination across multiple organizations and stakeholders, both internal and external to Manufacturing Engineering. Due to the volume and complexity of current initiatives, dedicated project engineering support is required to ensure timely execution, technical integration, and successful delivery of critical mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
