Job summary

JPJ Staffing in Camas, WA is seeking an immediate Project Engineer (PE) to support the Project Manager by preparing bid packages, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, and RFIs, and by tracking material deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent, proficiency in Procore, Sage 300 (Timberline), BlueBeam and MS Office, and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Procure shop drawings, samples and other submittals per specifications
• Ensure current plans and specifications are issued to all project subcontractors, vendors, and on-site staff
• Ensure materials and equipment are released for fabrication in time for delivery and assist in expediting deliveries
• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding schedule dates and report these communications to project team
• Maintain procedures with Owner, Architect and Engineer for information and approvals for submittals
• Attend meetings and distribute meeting minutes
• Track RFIs, ASIs, Submittals, Addenda and Project Costs
• Submit as-built drawings, guarantees, warranties, and operating instructions at close-out
