Job summary

Strategic Management Solutions, LLC (SMSI) is hiring a Project Engineer based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to supervise engineering activities across all disciplines on a project for a global business unit.

The role requires planning and directing engineering assignments, coordinating with the IPT, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. US citizenship and a Q clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• At least 6 years of relevant engineering/project management experience.
• Experience with gloveboxes and EVM concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical representative for engineering activities across planning, design, and execution.
• Coordinate with IPT and fabricators to ensure scope, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Evaluate supply chain risks and manage design changes and deviations.
• Support fabrication and execution activities, tracking progress and corrective actions.
• Verify A/E design compliance at 30/60/90/100 percent maturity.
