Your Role

As a project engineer, you will support project managers in both office and field settings to successfully manage multiple projects.

What You'll Do

1. Assist with estimating and project management tasks such as submittals, scope of work, safety compliance, subcontracting, budgeting, scheduling, analysis, pricing, vendor management, change orders, and document control.
2. Engage with external clients during weekly project meetings.

What You'll Need

1. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and accurately.
2. Strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
3. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with effective communication skills.
4. Analytical and problem-solving skills for informed decision-making.
5. Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution; experience on large Heavy Civil/Heavy Highway projects is preferred.
6. 3-7 years of relevant experience.
7. Experience reading plans, working with earthmoving, storm drains, sewers, and water lines is preferred.
8. Proficiency in software such as Primavera, Suretrak, and CAD tools as needed.
9. Equivalent education, training, and experience are acceptable.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000 annually, plus benefits and potential discretionary profit-sharing bonuses. Compensation is based on skills, experience, education, market demand, and business needs. This range may be adjusted in the future.
