Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Independently perform engineering assignments for municipal projects.
  • Lead multiple project teams across simultaneous assignments.
  • Manage the quality, timeliness and financial aspects of projects.
  • Lead design tasks on multiple municipal projects.
  • Develop quality work products and designs under the mentorship of senior staff.
  • Supervise and mentor engineers-in training, designers, and technicians.
  • Understand engineering conditions and laws and permitting organizations such as city, state and county entities: research, identify and apply permitting process and code requirements to engineering assignments.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering or science field.
  • 5+ years design engineering experience working on municipal infrastructure projects, and/or county and state roadway projects.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas.
  • Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
