Job summary

Teichert is seeking a Project Engineer to support estimating and field operations across multi‑discipline construction management. The role collaborates with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators to resolve issues, manage resources, and maintain project documentation.

Ideal candidates have a construction management or engineering background with 0–2 years (I) or 2+ years (II) experience, and possess tools knowledge such as AutoCAD, AGTEK, and SureTrak.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years for Project Engineer I; 2+ years for II.
• Pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background check required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain company auto insurance.
• Ability to read blueprints and use computer-aided systems for quantity calculations.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports estimating and field operation goals and objectives; resolves challenges.
• Collaborates across departments; adheres to policies and procedures.
• Builds relationships with internal/external customers; maintains professional interactions.
• Completes internal administrative tasks, including logs, records, invoices, RFIs, and submittals.
• Gains exposure to multiple Teichert areas; progresses toward Project Engineer roles.
