Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our National Mission Critical team in the United States. This role focuses on learning Ryan processes, procedures, and business policies while assisting the project team on designated projects.

Responsibilities include generating RFIs, tracking shop drawings, coordinating vendors and subcontractors, and supporting the project schedule. Travel will be required as needed to execute projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in commercial construction.
• Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects.

• Learn project dimensional control requirements while field verifying dimensions.
• Assist in the coordination and tracking of Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries.
• Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Gain an understanding for overall site logistics.
• Participate in and gain an understanding of the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process.
• Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs.
• Accompany Ryan personnel and Owner on Punchlist inspections, record items, and monitor completion.
• Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule.

This individual will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects with a focus on learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies.

Some Things You Can Expect To Do

• Help generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals.
• Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination.
• Learn project dimensional control requirements while field verifying dimensions to back check the shop drawing approval process.
• Assist in the coordination and tracking of Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries.
• Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Gain an understanding for overall site logistics.
• Participate in and gain an understanding of the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process.
• Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in commercial construction.
• Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects.

You Will Really Stand Out If You

• Have general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
• Experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore).
• Design-build commercial construction experience.
