Overview

The Project Engineer I will play a key role in supporting project management activities, including project planning, design coordination, procurement, and construction oversight. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Assist project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to facilitate project execution and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Design Support and Review: Review project drawings, specifications, and design documents to identify potential issues, conflicts, or discrepancies, and collaborate with design teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Structural Steel Design Coordination: Assist in the coordination of structural steel design and detailing activities, including review of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection plans.
  • Procurement and Material Management: Support procurement activities, including material take-offs, vendor inquiries, and purchase order processing, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment for projects.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers to expedite delivery of materials, resolve material-related issues, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Construction Oversight and Quality Assurance: Assist in construction oversight activities, including site visits, inspections, and coordination with construction teams to monitor progress, resolve field issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance Inspections: Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections of structural steel components, ensuring compliance with fabrication and erection requirements, industry standards, and regulatory codes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project files, drawings, specifications, and correspondence, ensuring completeness, organization, and accessibility of project records.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and distribute project reports, progress updates, and meeting minutes to project teams, stakeholders, and management, providing timely and relevant information on project status, issues, and risks.
