Job summary

Armstrong World Industries seeks a Project Engineer to support the design and installation of capital equipment and systems across our ceilings manufacturing locations. Your first 3-6 months will be at our Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, PA, learning engineering processes and key technologies used to make ceilings.

Your next 4-6 months will take place at one of our manufacturing facilities, expanding your understanding of the company and ceiling technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a minimum 2.8 GPA.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Previous AutoCAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects that involve problem investigation, requirements gathering, solutions development, scope documentation, and equipment specification.
• Provide engineering support throughout all project phases and equipment installations related to improving manufacturing operations.
• Learn from subject matter experts, production managers, and front-line operators while executing project tasks.
