Job summary

Tori Contracting in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Project Engineer to support project managers on commercial drywalling, metal stud framing, and acoustics—ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.

The role involves documenting logs, RFIs, change orders, inspections, and billing coordination, plus admin support for PE/PM. A BS in Construction Science/Management or related field and 2 years framing/drywall experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of framing/drywall experience in new construction, renovation, and interior buildouts.
Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related Engineering field strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with Procore construction management software and project scheduling software.
Integrity and discretion in handling confidential project information and in dealing with project colleagues.

Responsibilities

Track and submit logs and project drawings/specifications; issue RFIs, change orders and other documentation as needed.
Perform field inspections; document findings and inform Project Superintendent of concerns.
Create and maintain change order logs; communicate with trades and issue changes.
Review invoices, review schedules, and assist with project billing and payments.
Provide admin support for project managers to optimize time and efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
