Job Summary

The Project Engineer supports the Project Manager and site team in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects. Responsibilities include managing schedules, preparing reports, conducting quality control, and overseeing subcontractor performance. The role serves as a liaison between office and field to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Assist in project planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  2. Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop project scopes, objectives, and schedules.
  3. Manage project documents such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and permits.
  4. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure compliance with project timelines and requirements.
  5. Monitor on-site activities for quality and safety compliance.
  6. Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  7. Conduct quality inspections to ensure standards and specifications are met.
  8. Track progress, report milestones, and help resolve issues.
  9. Maintain accurate records, including logs and reports.
  10. Assist in budget management, expense tracking, and cost forecasting.
  11. Support communication among stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers.
  12. Attend meetings and update project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Education & Additional Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  2. Experience in construction project engineering or management.
  3. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and MS Office.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  5. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  6. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  7. Knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.
