Job summary

Meyer Tool Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to evaluate customer drawings and specs, determine efficient machining processes, and develop production routings with lean methods.

You will work hands-on with shop floor teams to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met according to product specifications. Responsibilities include defining process instructions, tooling requests, and supporting continuous improvement through methods like FMEA and DMAIC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or high school with manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T; knowledge of lean principles.
• Experience with precision machining and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer requirements from PO, drawings, specs or data.
• Develop process routings and operation instructions to meet specs.
• Assist in inspection process instructions and tooling selection.
• Quote work with cost/time considerations under engineering guidance.
• Support root-cause analysis using FMEA, DMAIC, PDCA, 5 WHY.
• Collaborate with shop floor and process specialists to implement lean plans.
• Ensure quality, cost, and on-time delivery; participate in customer meetings.
