Northshore Home Health Care seeks a Lead Project Engineer to support complex system integration on airborne platforms. You will plan and drive program activities, supervise cross-functional engineering teams, and lead reviews and milestone assessments to ensure safety, performance, and reliability.
The role requires a bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience (or equivalent), and an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Lead Project Engineer supporting complex system integration on airborne platforms.
Plan and execute program activities, manage technical development, ensure lifecycle process adherence, identify and mitigate risks, and coordinate with customers and senior leadership.
Supervise cross-functional engineering teams including Systems, Software, Aeronautical, and Logistic Engineering, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and reliability standards.
Lead design reviews, technical meetings, and milestone assessments; develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
Review engineering deliverables, drive issue resolution, and track program performance metrics; support bid/proposal efforts and ensure adherence to policies.
Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience (or 7+ with graduate degree), or 13+ years without a degree. Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
Experience in program planning, engineering processes, bid development, and disciplines such as Aero, Software, Systems, or Project Engineering. Ability to travel as needed.
Leadership experience (Task/ IPT Leader), strong communication skills, and stakeholder engagement.
