Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience working in a similar role involving PLC-based industrial, mechanical, and/or electronic control systems, including HMI, network connectivity, FAT/SAT, prototyping, and communication with users, stakeholders, and clients (internal or external).
• Experience as the key communicator/coordinator for system design and build projects, with the ability to create and present metrics, reports, and project updates to stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating control system design and builds across multiple departments such as software, engineering, field service, management, clients, testing/QA, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience or familiarity with PLC programming and ladder logic
• Experience or familiarity with PLC system connectivity, networks, hardware, motors/motion systems, software, HMI, and other PLC-based systems
• Experience designing, building, and researching electronic control systems (or DCS, HMI, SCADA, or similar)
• Ability to read, interpret, and define electrical diagrams, one-line diagrams, or block diagrams (experience with AutoCAD is preferred)
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Good business sense, focusing on ROI and profitability of systems
• A college degree (BSEE, ASEE, or similar) or relevant training in electrical engineering is strongly preferred

Willingness to learn (experience with any of these is a plus):

• Reading, understanding, and defining contract terms and SLAs
• Coordinating field engineering system start-ups and cutovers
• Working with technical customers to modify initial specs and system orders based on changes and availability
• Creating system packing lists and billing paperwork (BOMs); experience with system documentation such as guides, manuals, startup lists, etc.
• Researching and presenting new and existing technologies, including electrical, infrastructure/network connectivity, and UI software/database reporting
• Experience with control system software like WonderWare, iFix, or similar
