What does this role look like?

As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering custom avionics systems and solutions for space missions. You will be involved in interpreting complex technical engineering data and creating solutions for areas such as system integration, software and hardware development, testing, and avionics equipment optimization.



Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
• Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration, and completion of Engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility
• Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers



To be effective in this role, you will need:

• Prior experience in project execution or program management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 9+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 7+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
• Qualified candidate must hold an active DoD Interim Secret or higher Security Clearance; thus US Citizenship is required.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
