The Project Engineer (‘Engineer’) shall be primarily responsible for managing the intervention systems and operations which are assigned to him/her. The Engineer will ensure that the projects are delivered as per the specifications set forth, function as intended, and meet applicable regulatory standards. The Engineer serves as the primary technical interface for the customer for subsea well intervention systems. The Engineer works closely with project managers, engineering teams, and field personnel to ensure project success. The Project Engineer position is office based and located at Trendsetter’s Houston, TX campus. Travel both domestically and internationally is occasionally required. The position offers bonuses and a competitive salary based on applicants’ experience.
Minimum of 4 years’ industry experience in an Oil & Gas sector (Drilling, Completion, Production, or Intervention).
Design experience in offshore and subsea equipment preferred.
B.S. Engineering degree from accredited university. Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio).
Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.
Proficient in Orcaflex and ANSYS analysis software.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills & ability to manage time.
Good communication & presentation skills, both written and oral.
Work autonomously as well as under direction.
Handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities.
The position is globally deployable and will require a current passport, immunizations, and training to be kept current as per Global Deployment Policy.
Position may require travel in support of projects, up to 60 days per year.
