Job summary

Worth & Company is seeking Summer Project Engineer Interns to gain hands‑on experience in construction project management and support field operations.

You will assist superintendents, help develop schedules, review drawings, and maintain project docs using Viewpoint Team, while traveling as needed and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel (including out‑of‑state assignments).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• BIM experience is a plus.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents in supervising subcontractors to ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and to quality standards.
• Help develop, update, and track construction schedules.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Maintain jobsite documentation including daily logs, drawings, and photos using project management software (Viewpoint Team).
• Coordinate punch list work with subcontractors.
• Enforce jobsite safety requirements.
• Attend project progress meetings with field personnel and subcontractors.
• Assist in creating progress reports.
• Help maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
• Build positive and professional relationships with employees, owners, vendors, and contractors.
