Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Interest in commercial construction and integration of design and construction.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Clear communication with a variety of people.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Take initiative and accept responsibility for work.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.
• Desire to gain practical experience in construction processes, project management, scheduling, estimating, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project delivery from early design through construction and closeout.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and the construction team.
• Maintain project documentation including submittals, RFIs, contracts, meeting notes.
• Coordinate information between design and construction teams to ensure design intent is carried through.
• Support project cost tracking including budgets, commitments, and change orders.
• Assist with estimating, bidding, scope development, and subcontractor coordination during preconstruction.
• Support schedule development and maintenance, track activities, and follow up on delays.
• Assist with procurement and project logistics including tracking materials and equipment.
• Support field teams with coordination and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and help with notes and action items.
• Utilize construction and PM tools like Autodesk Construction Cloud and Primavera P6.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to develop skills.
• Develop practical construction knowledge and communication through hands-on experience.
