YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE:

  • Provides technical and design services in support of industrial water/wastewater related projects.
  • Responsibilities include: conduct preliminary and final engineering evaluations, prepare various reports, produce design drawings, prepare technical specifications, and prepare permit submittals.
  • Have familiarity with industrial water and wastewater treatment systems, along with fresh water and wastewater pipelines and pump stations.
  • Must be able to work as part of a project team and be willing to work across all engineering disciplines.
  • Responsible for various tasks on several concurrent projects and must be able to follow these tasks through to completion within the allocated period of time and the monetary budget assigned.
  • Willing to spend time at project sites working directly with the client, construction/project managers, subcontractors and equipment vendors.
  • Familiar with the methodology in determining regulatory requirements in various states to support industrial water/wastewater projects.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum 5years of experience in industrial-water and wastewater related engineering design.
  • Experience with steady-state pressurized pipeline network hydraulic modeling for: route verification, pipe sizing, pump sizing, booster pump locating, system capacity analysis, etc using Bentley WaterGEMS/WaterCAD and Esri ArcGIS
  • Knowledge and/or understanding treatment process modeling and overall process hydraulics
  • Technically competent, a team player and good communications ability required.
  • Must be self-motivated and work independently to complete work assignments.
  • Have proficient knowledge of modeling in industrial design including stormwater, water and wastewater and good understanding of current rules and regulations associated with civil design elements
  • Requires a valid driver's license, acceptable motor vehicle record, cleared criminal background check and negative drug test result.
