Job summary

AZZ Inc. invites applications for a Project Engineer to support facility expansion, greenfield development, and capital project execution across a network of manufacturing facilities.

You will work with plant leadership, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are safely completed on schedule and within budget. The role requires 4+ years in construction or capital projects, strong coordination with contractors, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing construction, facilities, or capital projects.
• Experience coordinating contractors and construction activities.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar capital projects.
• Experience developing project budgets, schedules, and scopes.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.
• Certifications such as CCM, PMP, CPE, FMP, CDT, OSHA 30 are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support building infrastructure systems across assigned manufacturing facilities.
• Evaluate facility needs and develop capital improvement plans.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and facility expansion projects.
• Support utility infrastructure including electrical distribution, HVAC, and process support utilities.
• Participate in long-range facility planning efforts.
• Develop and manage CERs, scopes, schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Lead capital projects through planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Manage multiple projects across locations.
• Ensure contractor safety compliance and performance.
