Job summary

AZZ has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to support facility expansion, greenfield development, infrastructure improvements, and capital project execution across a network of manufacturing facilities. This position will serve as a key resource for construction management, facility engineering, contractor coordination, and capital project implementation.

The successful candidate will work closely with plant leadership, contractors, consultants, and corporate stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

4+ years of experience managing construction, facilities, or capital projects.
Experience coordinating contractors and construction activities.
Experience managing multi-million-dollar capital projects.
Experience developing project budgets, schedules, and scopes.
Willingness to travel up to 50% based on project needs.
Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field; relevant certifications highly desired.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage capital expenditure requests (CERs) and scopes.
Prepare schedules, budgets, and cost estimates for projects.
Lead projects through planning, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup.
Manage multiple projects across locations and ensure safety compliance.
Coordinate contractors, consultants, engineers, and vendors; monitor progress.
