Job summary

The role involves reviewing energy simulation models (eQuest, TRACE 3D Plus), validating calculations, and collaborating with contractors on site assessments.

The candidate will have 4+ years in energy efficiency/building science, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in setup and interpretation of BAS data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar program (e.g., Renewable Energy Engineering).
• 4+ years of experience in energy efficiency, green building, building science, or related fields.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Review energy efficiency simulation models and spreadsheets for accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
• Communicate with third‑party contractors to resolve issues identified in reviews.
• Conduct on-site assessments on commercial and multifamily buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Develop data analysis to determine savings from custom energy efficiency projects.
• Keep managers informed of project schedules and provide time charging/budget updates.
• Stay informed about energy issues and industry trends through reading and professional involvement.
