A leading company in clean energy is seeking a Project Manager to oversee energy efficiency projects in the New York City metro area. The successful candidate will manage all stages of complex projects, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while engaging effectively with stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include a degree in engineering, extensive experience in project management, and relevant certifications.
Responsible for implementing decarbonization, energy efficiency and clean energy technology projects (primarily mechanical, electrical and process systems) at NYPA customer sited facilities predominantly in the New York City metro area. Ensures adherence to internal and external safety and quality standards as well as internal project governance including cost, timing, and risks. Monitors and reports on the status of projects in various stages of development. Demonstrated experience with feasibility, design, permitting, procurement, construction, and completion of complex electrical and mechanical energy efficiency projects in an urban environment, with NYC governmental experience preferred (e.g. NYC DCAS). Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders and able to present to management staff within the Authority and its Customers. Will be responsible for the management of complex engineering projects, including safety, quality, scope, schedule, and budget to deliver a successful project outcome. Travel to project locations and customer meetings is expected.

The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
