Job summary

Michels Trenchless, Inc. in Reston, VA is seeking a Project Engineer to support pursuit and execution of projects, addressing technical issues and coordinating design deliverables with partners.

You will travel as needed and join a team that values safety, training, and a strong work ethic; PMP/PE or candidate preferred; Primavera, HCSS, B2W experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 1+ year of experience.
• Understanding of win strategies, cost estimating, project scheduling, and technical writing.
• PMP or PE certification preferred.
• Experience with Primavera, HCSS, B2W.
• Willingness to travel for work.

Responsibilities

• Support and provide program technical support for pursuit and execution of projects.
• Address technical issues across projects and develop narratives for pursuit phase.
• Coordinate and review design deliverables produced by design partners.
• Provide technical support of field operations issues as they arise.

As a Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to support and provide program technical support for the pursuit and execution of projects. You will address technical issues across all projects, develop technical narratives that are required in the pursuit phase, coordinate and review design deliverables produced by design partners and provide technical support of field operations issues if and when they arise.

What it takes:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field, 1+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding and experience with win strategies, cost estimating, project scheduling and technical writing
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE)
• Experience with Primavera, HCSS, B2W
• Experienced in communicating and conveying technical concepts internally, to clients and 3rd parties
• Ability to travel for work
