Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction L.L.C. is seeking a Project Engineer I to design and prepare formwork layouts in Revit, analyze formwork drawings, and optimize resources.

You will collaborate with project teams to coordinate schedules, monitor safety, cost, and progress, and build strong client relationships on challenging construction projects. Key requirements include a civil/construction/architectural engineering degree, knowledge of structural systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, construction, or architectural engineering.
• Understanding of structural systems and structural engineering acquired through coursework or practical experience.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the preparation of formwork/framework layout drawings in Autodesk Revit.
• Analyzing and designing formwork.
• Supports the project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project and adapts schedules and work tasks accordingly.
• Works closely with the project team monitoring the safety, cost and scheduling of construction projects.
• Optimizes formwork designs and collaborates with material coordinator to ensure efficient utilization of Ceco’s physical resources.
• Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance company’s ability to procure projects.
• Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Role Overview

The Project Engineer I is responsible for designing and preparing formwork layouts Revit, analyzing structural formwork drawings, and optimizing resources.
