Job summary

Jost Chemical Company is seeking a Project Engineer I to join our Project Engineering team. This role supports the Director of Project Engineering in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.

The candidate will oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of projects, coordinate with CAD/BIM teams, and work with cross-functional groups to optimize facilities and systems while maintaining API standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Up to 7 years of project engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct engineering projects including scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage manufacturing line projects under $10 million.
• Lead utility projects, facility modifications, and retrofit initiatives.
• Coordinate with CAD/BIM, Process and Production Engineers for layouts and drawings.
• Ensure safety and API standards in all project activities.
• Develop cost estimates and project timelines to deliver on time and within budget.
