Job summary

Lighthouse Electric is seeking a Project Engineer I for our Columbus, OH operations. You will assist the Project Manager with administrative tasks, coordinate BIM work from estimate through site delivery, and support procurement and scheduling to meet project goals.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in CM/Engineering/Business or five years of field experience, with strong communication skills, blueprint literacy, and OSHA/NEC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years field experience required.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements on electrical projects.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of NEC and Low Voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with project administration and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate BIM processes from estimate to site delivery and prefabrication.
• Support procurement activities and project scheduling per WBS and budgets.
• Prepare project reports for management and clients; facilitate communications.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company SOPs and site requirements.
