Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the project team on smaller, less complex projects. You will assist a project manager to coordinate engineering, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and subcontracted services, applying strong organizational skills to maximize team effectiveness.

You will help assemble submittals, track work progress, assist with procurement, and analyze basic construction questions to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in related field or applicable experience.
• Up to 3 years’ experience.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, lighting, controls, generation, water).
• Basic ERP skills: inquire, review and print job cost reports.
• Ability to read design drawings and track work progress.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency including Excel and MS Projects.
