Job summary

Murray Company Mechanical Contractors seeks a Project Engineer to join our Advanced Technologies division, focusing on high-tech construction projects including process piping, cleanrooms, and tool installs. The Chandler, AZ location will require travel to the greater Phoenix area.

You will support scheduling, manpower planning, and budgeting under the Project Manager, prepare reports, and handle daily administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering or related field.
Minimum 2+ years of project engineering experience in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Excel and general computer literacy.
Experience with construction software such as MS Project, Revit, Navisworks, ACC/Procore, and Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, and arranging assignment of project personnel.
Assist in coordination of project personnel activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
Advise Project Manager of potential problems and schedule difficulties; assist in resolving them.
Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures as required.
Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items per supervisor’s authorization.
Prepare special reports, studies, and statistical analysis as requested.
