Allied Resources Technical Consultants seeks an experienced Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager to join its Project Management team in the Danbury, CT area. The role supports heavy civil construction projects, handling submittals, budgeting, scheduling, and engineering coordination.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction or project management and familiarity with excavation, trenching, and heavy equipment operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction, engineering, or project management experience.
• Experience with heavy civil construction preferred.
• Familiarity with excavation, trenching, heavy equipment, and related operations is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or engineering preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with the Project Management team on engineering plans, procedures, and execution strategies.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and value engineering.
• Prepare, process, and track project submittals.
• Assist with budget analysis, cost projections, and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Manage CPM schedules including baseline development and updates.
• Handle RFIs and other engineering inquiries.
• Assist with purchase orders and subcontracts administration.
• Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and tracked.
• Work with Finance to review monthly project costs.
• Maintain project data in the ERP system for accurate reporting.
• Provide general project coordination and construction management support.
